Terms of use

Kiwimath is free while it is in early access. These are the plain rules for using it. If anything here is unclear, write to us and we will explain.

Who can use Kiwimath

An adult parent or guardian creates the account and agrees to these terms and to the privacy notice for their child. Children use Kiwimath through that account. Each child should have their own account, so their progress stays their own.

What it costs

Nothing, during early access. If Kiwimath ever has a price, we will publish it clearly and tell you before it applies to your account. Nothing will be charged automatically. See early access.

What early access means

Kiwimath is still being built. Features may change, move or be switched off, and sometimes something will break. We do our best to keep your child’s progress safe through every change.

The maths

We check answer keys by machine and by people, and we fix or remove questions we can’t stand behind. Even so, a question can occasionally be wrong. Please use “Report a problem” when you find one. Kiwimath helps children practise; it does not promise any exam result or rank.

Coins and rewards

Coins and other rewards in Kiwimath have no money value and can’t be bought, sold or exchanged.

What we ask of you

  • Keep your sign-in to yourself and your family.
  • Don’t copy the questions, books or site in bulk, or try to break, overload or scrape the service.
  • Don’t use Kiwimath to harm, bother or mislead anyone.

Our content

The questions, lessons, books, design and software belong to Kiwimath or to the people who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own family’s learning. Books in the library are for reading in Kiwimath, not for sharing as copies.

Stopping

You can stop using Kiwimath at any time, and you can ask us to delete the account and its data (see the privacy notice). We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why by email.

Limits

Kiwimath is provided as it is during early access. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses caused by the service being unavailable or by an error in a question. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top and tell you in the product. Questions: hello@kiwimaths.com.
