This week’s puzzles

The Winding Way

  • Explorers
  • Levels 1 and 2

The Twins of Hampi

  • Thinkers
  • Level 3 and up
  • Truth and lies

Kiwi, Aryan and Diya are deep under the ruins of Hampi when the door seals shut. Two identical Guardians of Time block the way. One speaks only Satya (truth), the other only Asatya (lies). Give the Golden Coin to the Guardian named Kiran, you may ask one 3-word question, to one Guardian.

You may ask one of these:

  • “Is Kiran truthful?”
  • “Are you Kiran?”
  • “Are you honest?”
  • “Do you lie?”

Ask one question to one Guardian, then give the Golden Coin to Kiran.

Why the answers aren’t on this page

Puzzles come back. After a few weeks each one returns as the puzzle of the week, so a solution printed here would spoil someone’s Saturday. Inside Kiwimath the hints open one at a time, and the full explanation opens the moment your child solves it.

In the Thinkers riddles, who lies and who tells the truth is shuffled for each child, so even a friend’s answer won’t help. Only the thinking does.
